The Diller feeder wagon for large hay bales has evolved over the years to the heavy duty more purpose built design it is today. Our 8800 series hay feeder wagons are designed for quick transport and easy maneuverability. Lengths available on the Diller 8800 series wagon feeders are: 16', 20' 24' and 28'.

The 8800 series feeder wagons are based on an 88" widebody concept designed to catch hay that is often wasted as it falls to the ground. The body is formed from heavy 10 gauge sheet steel and a full length rib runs the centerline of the feeder giving it strength. Each feeder features a hay basket which holds the bale up off of the pan, allowing your cattle to have a second chance at any hay which is dropped. This feature greatly eliminates hay waste so that some of our customers say that hay waste is zero. The Diller hay saving basket is constructed of heavy duty schedule 40 pipe and can accommodate large round bales or large square bales. The dual wheeled front dolly gives the feeder wagon a tight turning radius allowing the feeders to be moved in and out of compact areas. The front dolly features an "Easy Hitch" pull out tongue and greasable bushings. Our feeder wagons utilize reinforced spindles with tapered roller bearings on all four wheels for safe on road towing. Completing the feeder are new ag wheels and tires that come standard rather than used truck tires.

The 8800 series large bale feeders are finished to look new and remain rust free for years. After fabrication, the entire feeder is acid washed to remove any oils, dirt or other contaminants that could prevent paint adhesion. A coat of epoxy primer forms the base of the finish and is topped off with a finish layer of PPG™ two-part polyurethane paint. Due to the "elastic" nature of polyurethane paint it provides a durable finish that resists fading, chalking and chipping unlike many other paints or powder coating.
